Ruffles All Dressed are Canada's favorite chip. But in the US, no one knew what ‘All Dressed’ meant. So to help American's understand this strange new flavor from the north, we created a mascot. Something cute. Something Canadian. Something....unforgettable, eh?
After the Beavoosear's debut, we found people were having trouble finding All Dressed. So we put the Beavoosear on the case.
But all things must end. Even vacations.
Launching The Instagram
To launch the Ruffles Instagram channel, we sent the Beavoosear on a trip around the US and shared his travel photos with all of our new followers.
Throughout it all, we encouraged Americans to stock up through totally un-doctored video footage of Canadian wildlife.
The Results?
The Ruffles All Dressed campaign far exceeded expectations. The flavor became Frito-Lay's most successful limited time offering in more than three years. And as a result, All Dressed Ruffles are here to stay, eh?
